We will clean your carpets, chairs, armchairs and sofas by following in detail the next 10 steps:

  1. Upholstery and carpet inspection

Our team will inspect the upholstery and carpets and take the necessary pre-cautions to protect the adjacent areas in order to avoid accidental damage.

  1. Dry – vacuuming

We will remove as much as possible the dust and dry soil from the upholstery and carpets by using a vacuum.

  1. Spots pre-spray

Our team will pre-spray the upholstery and carpets marks to remove the marks which are not permanent.

  1. Pre-spray

The upholstery and carpets surface will be pre-sprayed with a cleaning solution to break down the soiled areas.

  1. Pre-grooming

The upholstery and carpets will be pre-groomed for a thorough dispersal of the cleaning solution.

  1. Rinsing

After the soil has been loosened our team will extract the water using a professional extraction machine. By doing so we make sure that the area is almost dry to touch and avoid furniture damage as a result of not extracting the water with a professional extraction machine. We will use a neutralizer solution in this step to ensure that the upholstery and carpets are pH balanced.

  1. Post-inspection

Our team will inspect the upholstery and carpets to be sure that there are no further spots which may require treatment. If so, our team will repeat the process until all the non-permanent spots are removed.

  1. Post grooming

Our team will groom the upholstery and carpets in order to ensure a professional finish.

  1. Speed-drying

Our team will use a powerful fan in order to speed up the drying process.

  1. Final inspection

Our team will inspect the upholstery and carpets together with the client in order to fully confirm the job completion.

  • Please note that not all the stains are removed during the carpet cleaning process (urine, dye, glue or adhesive, wood stains, tannin, red wine stains on woven carpets)
  • Depending on the type of carpet and the type of stain our team will advise you once on site if the stain can be either removed entirely, partially or if it cannot be removed.
  • Fixings, poor carpet fixings may increase the risk of carpet shrinkage
  • Seams, poorly jointed seams may split during cleaning through water or heat.
  • Backings, the type of backing may influence the method of cleaning. Some backings are prone to shrinkage.

No matter how carefully you treat your carpets, eventually the carpets will require replacement.

It  is important that you do some research on the available carpets as each type of carpet has good points and bad points.

Finding the right carpet for you depends on your lifestyle and personal design/colour preferences.

It is crucial to have the carpet vacuumed before is removed. This will ensure that the dust and debris will not end up in the air and in the rest of the property.

If the carpets are contaminated with mould or animal urine extra steps are required to protect your health.

It is important as well that the floor is dry before a new carpet is installed. In some cases the old adhesive will require removing especially if you are dealing with cutback adhesive.

The whole process of replacing a carpet is deceiving. Initially it looks that the whole process involves only cutting, rolling and tucking the carpet in place.

Keep in mind that you may require additional professional tools to complete the job which may prove too expensive for a one time job. Stretching the carpet in a professional manner is a big part of the job.

Patterned carpets, always buy 5%- 10% extra as the wastage will be higher compared to a non-patterned carpet. The bigger the pattern the bigger the wastage.

For the large areas of your property you may require to seam the carpet. In this case you need a good carpet seamer and you need to take your time and measure everything twice to make sure the carpet pieces will join perfect.
